The All Progressives Congress in Ondo has listed some of the achievement of Rotimi Akeredolu, the governor and has stated that more will be done if he is elected for a second term on October 10.
The Ondo governorship election is a two horse race between Governor Akeredolu and the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Eyitayo Jegede.

Four years ago, Governor Akeredolu received more votes than Barrister Jegede and was announced the winner of the election.

DENISAURUS News understands that Governor Akeredolu is likely to win again.
The ruling party argue that Governor Akeredolu “has changed Ondo State’s narratives. Since the era of Late Ajasin, No Governor has added an Industry to the State. Today, we have 8 industries.”
Other achievements the party listed includes the commissioning of the Sunshine Chocolate Factory in Idanre, which will create more than 800 jobs.
Also it was noted that the the “Cassava-Ethanol at Ondo-Linyi Industrial Hub in Ore. It’s one of the positive results of Governor @RotimiAkeredolu’s industrial revolution. This factory provides a ready market for Cassava farmers in Ondo State as about 300tons of Cassava are used daily.”
With a hashtag #AketiForEight, is hoping that their candidate will be given a second term.
