Ibrahim Mustafa Magu, the Acting Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, is facilitating the influx of senior police officers to the anti-graft agency to decimate its meagre funds.
Information available to DENISAURUS News, revealed that Mr Magu, who is fully in the know about his departure from the EFCC, is doing everything possible to shrink funds available for the growth and development of the Commission.
This is made possible with huge funds being used to double pay the high ranking seconded Police Officers, who contribute little or nothing to the uplifting of the anti-graft agency. Even though, the bona fide staff members are many enough, and have reached the peak of their career to contribute better to the growth of the EFCC.
Annoyingly, it was understood that Mr Magu has over the years stagnated the promotion of five sets of staff members, hence, perpetuate the continuous dominance and supremacy of the seconded top ranking police officers.
DENISAURUS News learned that about 53 Assistant Commissioners of Police and others, are ripping off the little available funds of the anti-graft agency, with the large remuneration shared to them by EFCC’s Magu.

According to our sources, some of these ACPs could be found in all the nook and crannies of the anti-graft agency, including the “dump site” of the EFCC, known as the Academy. Here, the acting Chair uses this department to punish his perceived enemies, and dump those seconded Police Officers whom he can’t de-second back to their mother agency, the Nigeria Police Force, NPF due to Godfatherism.

A source averred that “if you go to the EFCC Academy, you will find this unproductive high ranking seconded Police Officers, who do not contribute anything to the success of the EFCC. But are kept here, to continue gulping the little funds meant for staff allowances and remuneration.” DENISAURUS News can report.
Another Police officer, whom the anti-graft boss had returned to NPF, due to the misunderstanding they had years ago, revealed that Mr Magu only keeps them at the EFCC Academy to ensure that he has loyalist, whenever he was sent to NIPSS course, Kuru, Jos.

“You know that Mr Magu has unprofessionally stepped on toes of Senior police officers. So, his believe is that some of this seconded top police officers he kept redundant, may have link to those top echelons at Force Headquarters, NPF.
“This would ensure that on the day of reckoning and retribution, a helping hand wont be far from his reach.” DENISAURUS News learned from our very reliable source, who is familiar with this sad occurrence at the anti-graft agency.
This Newspaper gathered from our findings, that most of these top ranking police officers at the “dump site” only receive huge remuneration, but can only be met at the EFCC Academy improperly dressed and gallivanting around the environs.
Also, worse of all, each of these high ranking seconded top Police officers gulp nothing less than N1.2 million, monthly from the meagre available funds of the EFCC. All without recourse to the fact that they still get paid salaries from the Nigeria Police Force, NPF.
In a nutshell, Mr Magu engages in Pay-roll fraud, using the same needless officers.

DENISAURUS News made frantic effort to reach the EFCC Spokesman, Wilson Uwujaren to ascertain the information on the Seconded top police officers, who are needless at the anti-graft agency, but at the time of filing this report, no response was obtained.
