The Osun State Government has promised to open an inquest into the death of Senator Isiaka Adetunji Adeleke.
In a press statement, the state government said it was “Setting up an inquest to unravel the circumstances of this unfortunate and sad incident, in order to put the record straight on his death.”
Senator Adeleke, 62, died on Sunday (April 23) at a hospital in Oshogbo. He was last seen looking healthy on Saturday.

The family of the deceased who say they are still waiting for the result of a post-mortem, have denounced reports on social and traditional media that he claimed he died of an overdose.
