Adams Oshiomhole, the chairman of the All Progressives Congress, APC, has once again been told to bow out.
The 67 year old, former Governor of Benin, who was accused of causing commotion in the APC during the election primaries, has already been suspended by leaders in his state, following fresh allegations of interference made against him by senior members of the party.
Mr Oshiomhole, who brought in his successor, Godwin Obaseki is determined to serve him with the Akinwunmi Ambode treatment. Mr Ambode, having challenged his Godfather, was denied a second term in office.
The party chairman has directed several statement against Governor Obaseki and his deputy, which has further irked their supporters.
Mr Oshiomhole, once had to scale through a fence to avoid the wrath of protesting members, who were furious about his imposition of candidates in the 2019 elections.
DENISAURUS News, who reported that news exclusively, after a call from an eyewitness, who saw the chairman scaling the fence, understand that Governor Obaseki has taken over the structure of the party in the state.
A prove of his control of the party is Mr Oshiomhole’s suspension.
