The National Assembly is planning to return from its recess on September 29 and not on the 15th as previously slated.
Olatunde Amos, the Clerk of the House who made the announcement of the postponement via twitter did not give any reason to the delay, but he apologised for “any inconvenience caused by this change of date.”
DENISAURUS News understands that when lawmakers in the upper chamber return to sitting, they would treat a request from President Muhammadu Buhari concerning the leadership of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC.
