The Governor of Edo State, Godwin Obaseki, has joined the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, DENISAURUS News can reveal.Â
Governor Obaseki, who was elected on the platform of the All Progressives Congress, APC, is at loggerheads with the now suspended chairman of the ruling party, Adams Oshiomhole.

During the governor’s tenure, his predecessor was indicted for procurement fraud.
The governor promised that no one will be sparred. DENISAURUS News, which has obtained a copy of the video of the governor picking up his membership card, is the top horse for the coming election.
The 60-year-old politician bought a nomination form to seek a second term on the APC platform, but Mr Oshiomhole, schemed him out by having him disqualified.
In a turn of event, Governor Obaseki’s move to the opposition PDPÂ seem to have boosted his re-election bid.
