JUST IN: New Acting Chairman At EFCC Authorises Redeployment For Staff On “Compassionate Grounds.”

Documents from the office of Mohammed Umar, the new acting chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, shows more redeployment is to take place this week.

Mr Umar, an Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) and former Director of Operations, who took over the running of the anti-graft agency, following the arrest of Ibrahim Mustafa Magu, was informed of the bullying antics deployed by his predecessor and he decided to do some more restructuring based on “compassionate grounds.”

Mr Magu, who remains suspended following his inability to account for billions of ₦aira and valuable assets, DENISAURUS News reported deliberately did “evil things” to frustrate staff while he held sway at the Commission.

In 2019, staff told this paper that their boss, Mr Magu, 58, the only person to be rejected by the NASS Senate due to an indicting report from the Department of State Service, DSS, made working condition very tough.

The 58-year-old, Police Commissioner from Borno state even went as far as sending some married female staff  to zones far away from their homes, which separated them from their young families.

Some of those moves have now been reversed in a memo dated 7th August, which was authorised by the new acting Chairman, DENISAURUS News can disclose.

Recently, the paper also revealed how Mr Magu was using a clergy man as a front.

Prophet Emmanuel Omale,  lead founder of Divine Hand of God Prophetic Ministries International, Abuja, travelled to Dubai in March to scout for choice properties for Mr Magu.

When the news was published, the prophet sent emissaries to Adenike Lucas, the editor of this newspaper, for the story to be removed.
