Adams Oshiomhole is the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, but after breaching government protocol at the inauguration ceremony of President Muhammadu Buhari, he was embarrassed by a military officer.
DENISAURUS News understands that Mr Oshiomhole, who recently received the call to resign from the post of chair, stood in line next to the acting Chief Justice of Nigeria, Ibrahim Muhammad Tanko, during a 21-gun salute for the President’s swearing in which took pace at the Eagle Square, Abuja, today.
Others in the line were the Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo; Senate President Bukola Saraki and Yakubu Dogara, and Service Chiefs.
The former Governor of Edo State, who is neither an appointee or member of the Government, should not have stood in the position he stood in to receive President Buhari who was to be sworn in for his second term.
Mr Oshiomhole’s goof was caught on camera.

Commentators on twitter suggested that Mr Adams’ blunder and breach of protocol was caused by ego.
“When Identity Politics gets taken too far. Oshiomole sees himself as a leader of an Arm of Government,” @segalink said.
