The All Progressives Congress, APC is losing more grounds in the south-south, as leading members in the region continue to decamp to the Peoples Democratic Party.
DENISAURUS News understands that a former Governor of Delta, Emmanuel Uduaghan, who was a senatorial candidate of the APC in the 2019 elections, rejoined the opposition PDP on Monday.

Dr Uduaghan defected to the PDP at his hometown in Abigborodo in Warri North Local Government Area of the State.
He said that he is “back to join forces with other party leaders to strengthen our party, the largest Party in Africa -PDP!
“Having tasted the other side, it feels refreshing to be back home!
The former Governor also thanked the party for the way they way welcomed him back.
“Thank you all for receiving me back,” he said: “It feels like I never left. “God bless you!”

Dr Uduaghan, is a cousin to another former Governor of Delta, James Ibori. Both men are very popular in the state.
The APC does not have any governor in any of the south-south states.
In the recent elections that held in Edo, the PDP candidate, Godwin Obaseki defeated the APC candidate by a wide margin.
Many members have blamed the immediate past chairman of the APC, Adams Oshiomhole for the loss.
