The Attorney General and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami, a Senior Advocate of Nigeria and the substantive minister in charge of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, sent a petition to President Muhammadu Buhari calling for the sack Ibrahim Mustafa Magu, the “rejected” acting Chairman of the anti-graft agency.
The petition of the AGF, which carries over 22 allegations of crimes against Mr Magu, not only vindicates this paper and staff, it also absolves the eight senate who rejected the nomination of the anti-graft boss, of any wrong doing.
Staff members – including police men seconded to the commission, have for five years have sent several petition to President Buhari seeking his intervention on issues of corruption perpetuated by Mr Magu.
DENISAURUS News, who has constantly reported corruption perpetuated by the EFCC boss, was wrongly accused of being sponsored when it reported Nigeria’s suspension from the Egmont Financial Intelligence Unit.
The suspension from Egmont – a world renowned financial intelligence unit was caused by Mr Magu, who was leaking sensitive information to media allies such as Sahara Reporters.
Mr Magu, who was dubbed as a “perennial offender,” by the Department of State Services, DSS, however at the time, denied the exclusive report of the editor of this paper.
Similarly now with the indicting petition made against him by the AGF, Mr Magu is hoping to hoodwink the people using the same media allies, the Egmont accused him of sharing documents with.
There are questions that should be asked of Mr Magu. Why did he fail to honour the invitation of the panel inaugurated to look into the matter against him?
They invited him twice, but he failed to honour the invitation, and in the end, they security agents had to apprehend him to take him to the panel – constituted by the President to give him a fair hearing.
Mr Magu, 58, was picked up in his Wuse 2, Office on Monday, 5th July 2020 at about 1.30 pm and whisked him away to the Presidential Villa, where the Committee was given a Secretariat to do its assignment.
The arrest of Ibrahim Magu has entered more than a week, and he is still answering questions on alleged gratification, corrupt enrichment, divulging information on high profile cases to friends and cronies among others.
Considering DENISAURUS News was the first media in exposing Magu’s corrupt tendencies, since he was rejected by the DSS and NASS in 2015, revealed that two days ago the staff of the EFCC who are die hard and loyal to the embattled Chairman also known as “MAGU BOYS” pretended to want to remove their boss personal belongings from his office. But instead of removing his personal belongings, they took away all the files linking to the arms deals investigations and carried it to an undisclosed place.
Staff members of the Commission who appreciate this new site efforts in exposing their Boss for long, and who also pleaded for anonymity say our colleagues, the Magu boys have whisked away with Arms deal files.
It was revealed that suspects found culpable in the arms deal cases, not all of them were investigated or arraigned in court. That some some were negotiated to released half of the money and give them soft landing.
Information reaching us that Air Commandore Salisu Yushau the for Director of Finance in the Nigeria Airforce was the one who the commission collected huge amount of money but disguised him to be a prosecuting witness in the Arms deal investigation.
Mr Magu even helped Salisu Yushau to hide the money in different location in Kaduna and some in their village near Kano known as Tudun Wada Kade. Salisu who has properties all over in Kaduna, Abuja and Kano is also a close ally of MAGU and he is enjoying a lot of protection from the suspended EFCC acting chairman.
Mr Magu’s link with a Kogi prophet was recently exposed by this paper. In April, DENISAURUS News revealed that Mr Magu was using Prophet Emmanuel Omale,  the lead founder of Divine Hand of God Prophetic Ministries International, Abuja, as a conduit for siphoning money. This allegation was confirmed by evidence received from the NFIU.

DENISAURUS News is over the next few days, going to publish more details on how Mr Magu has been siphoning monies through those known as “MAGU BOYS”.
This paper will bring to our loyal readers, a list of officers that have been fully investigated or arraigned in court since the arms deal investigation commenced in 2015. Air Commodore Adeosun is another Airforce suspected to have given Mr Magu billions of dollars to stop his investigation and arraignment.
The paper commends Mr Malami on his petition to the President. We are appealing to him to also order the arrest of this “MAGU boys,” who we know stole files from the commission. Mr Malami, SAN, should have them investigated.
We are also calling on President Buhari to order a fresh investigation on all the arms deal suspects, so as to investigate further discrepancies in the case as regard to the missing files.
