Abba Kyari, the Chief of Staff to President Muhamadu Buhari, has died of due to complications arising from a Covid-19 infection.

A statement from a spokesperson to the Presidency confirmed the death late Friday night. According to Femi Adesina, Mallam Kyari will be buried today.
Mallam Kyari, one of President Buhari’s most closest member of staff, was receiving treatment for the viral disease in Ikoyi, Lagos.
