The Kaduna State Governorship Election Petition Tribunal has completed hearing a case brought against Governor Nasir El-rufai by the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP. 

Isa Ashiru Kudan, the PDP candidate who called 135 witnesses out of the 685, believes he is the rightful winner of the March 9, 2019 Governorship election.

He through his legal counsel argued that Governor El-rufai was illegally awarded a higher votes and if the results were amended rightly, he would have scored 689,958 lawful votes, while El-Rufai will have 653,686 votes.

The matter has been adjourned and a date for judgement is to be given through the counsel of each party.

Alhaji Ashiru-Kudan hopes the tribunal panel led by Justice Ibrahim M. Bako, Chairman will grant his prayers when the judgement is given.
