Protesters Gather Outside Mamman Daura’s House In Kaduna To Ask For Abba Kyari To Go

Protesters on Monday, gathered at the gate of Mamman Daura’s house to show their frustration against the continued appointment of the Chief of Staff, Abba Kyari.

DENISAURUS News understands from a source in the house, that the demonstrators who carried various placards, want Mallam Daura, a powerful nephew of President Muhammau Buhari to stop supporting Mallam Kyari.

They say the Chief of Staff, who is also an ally of Mallam Daura, has been a log in the wheel of the government led by President Buhari since 2015, and that he should not be retained in the new administration which began on May 29, 2019, after the President was returned for a second time in office.

Another group in Abuja, who demonstrated against Mallam Kyari’s continued appointment, carried placards saying: “Abba Kyari Must Go.”

A controversy has followed the CoS since his appointment and some have wanted him out of the way.

A source in the Presidency exclusively revealed to this paper last month, that a former Minister of Education might be appointed as the next Chief of Staff, while Mallam Kyari will take over as the Petroleum Minister.
