FURIOUS PROTESTERS TELL ASIWAJU TINUBU And LAHA Members “ENOUGH IS ENOUGH To Baba Sope, Baba Wipe, Baba Fe Pee!”

Protesters gathering at the Lagos State House of Assembly in Alausa have said they are against any plans to remove Governor Akinwunmi Ambode.

The Governor who failed to get the ticket for the All Progressives Congress, APC, to run a second term is facing impeachment threat from lawmakers from his party.

DENISAURUS News understands that Governor Ambode, no longer has the support of a senior APC chieftain who backed his campaign in 2015.

The lose of patronage might have been the reason for his defeat at the primaries where Babajide Sanwo-Olu was selected. It is said to be the reason behind the renewed threat by lawmakers in the state to impeach him over the late submission of the 2019 budget.

Bola Tinubu, a former Governor of Lagos, who has a heavy influence in the political scene in Lagos is heavily in support of Mr Sanwo-Olu, the APC Gubernatorial candidate, expected to face Jimi Abaje of the Peoples Democratic Party, Babatunde Gbadamosi of the ADP, among all other candidates vying for the number one job in the state on March 2.

Despite losing the favour of Asiwaju Tinubu, some people in Lagos still believe in the outgoing Governor and have vowed that he must be allowed to complete his tenure.
