2019 ELECTIONS: “Get Your Own Crowd From Sudan,” Shehu Sani Taunts El-Rufai Over Claims That PDP Rented People For Sokoto Campaign Launch

ZARIA – Shehu Sani, the Senator representing Kaduna Central has said Nasiru El-Rufai, the Governor of the state can rent a crowd from Sudan.

The comment was made after Governor El-Rufai made a claim that the campaign of the opposition which kicked off in Sokoto was attended by crowd hired from Niger Republic.

At the inauguration of the campaign council of the All Progressives Congress in Kaduna, Governor El-Rufai who famously bulldozed the home of a serving Senator said: “Thieves have ganged-up against President Muhammadu Buhari.

“Yesterday they were in Sokoto, and they rented crowd from Niger Republic just to show people that they have supporters, because Sokoto people refused to come out.

“So, when it is time to launch President Muhammadu Buhari’s campaign in Kaduna, people should come for the whole world to see that, it not Niger Republic people that are disguising as Nigerians.

“We must show that we are in support of President Muhammadu Buhari, and when is time to cast our votes, we should vote for President Muhammadu Buhari and all the APC candidates. In Kaduna, we will support APC from top to bottom.”

But Senator Sani, a lawmaker who lost the APC ticket to Governor El-Rufai’s preferred candidate took to twitter to taunt his opponent.

“They rent theirs from Niger because of proximity; You can rent yours from Sudan because of affinity.”
