The world’s fastest man, Usain Bolt has signed up with Manchester United to play a charity football match against Barcelona.
The Jamaican eight time Olympic gold medalist, who has always talked about his desires to play for the Red Devils is currently injured, but, hopes to recover in time for the match.
The sprinter recently retired from athletic, but, adoring fans in London might not have to wait much before they see their sporting hero, as a restaurant which has the world’s fastest man as a key partner is to open 15 restaurants across the UK over the next five years.
The match against Barcelona would also be a good trill for Bolt fans who also enjoy watching football.
The 30-year-old along with a host of former Manchester United players – including Edwin van der Sar, Paul Scholes, Denis Irwin, Dwight Yorke, are to play the team at Old Trafford on September 2.
In the first leg of the match, Manchester United defeated a Barcelona side that had Patrick Kluivert, Rivaldo and Ronaldinho at the Camp Nou.
