President Muhammadu Buhari is chairing a meeting of the Federal Executive Council, FEC.
The President welcomed Nigeria’s women basket basketball team the last team he presided over the meeting. He authorised the Minister of Finance to make a payment of one million to each player in celebration of them wining the 2017 International Basketball Federation, FIBA Women Afrobasket Tournament in Mali.
The minister of women affairs, Aisha Al-Hassan is among those present at today’s meeting which began at 11am at the Presidential Council chamber.
Senator Al-Hassan was recently seen on video piling praises on former Vice President Abubakar Atiku, who she called “father and our president by the grace of God come 2019”
