Ellie Reeves, the wife of John Cryer and sister to the MP for Leeds West, has been selected as a Labour parliamentary candidate.

Ellie, a lawyer by profession will be fighting for the Lewisham West and Penge seat in the June 8 election.

In a tweet, she said she was “Delighted to have been selected as the Labour candidate in Lewisham West and Penge – the area that I live in and that I love.”
