British Nigerian, Julie Adenuga, has been named among Europe’s most influential artists in the Forbes 30 Under 30 list.

Adenuga, the sister of JME and Skepta who is one of three lead DJs for Beats 1, Apple’s 24/7 radio station as part of Apple Music,  said she was overwhelmed and  used her verified twitter account to say: “Thank you very much @Forbes .”

The 28-year-old entered the magazine’s elite collection in the “social stars” category, with the likes of Susan Wokoma, 29; Emeli Sandé, 29; Michael Kiwanuka, 29; Gareth Bale, 27 and Michael Omari, aka Stormzy, 23.
