Aminu Bodai, a member of the state House of Assembly, representing Dange/Shuni state constituency in Sokoto State was kidnapped today, the police has confirmed.Â
The lawmaker was abducted by gunmen in the early hours of the morning.
DENISAURUS News understands that the lawmaker who was elected on the platform of the All Progressives Congress, APC, was forcefully taken away from his home at about 1 am.
Abubakar Sadiq, Police Public Relations Officer who confirmed the abduction noted that an investigation and full surveillance of the area and neighbouring surrounding was had commenced immediately.
