Ademola Adeleke, a serving lawmaker from the state of Osun has vowed to challenge a negative ruling giving against him.
The court of appeal today ruled against Senator Adeleke, who had previously been declared the rightful winner of the September 2018 Guber elections by a three man panel led by Justice Ibrahim Sirajo.

The appellate court instead ruled in favour of Governor Gboyega Oyetola.
Senator Adeleke who represents Osun West senatorial district plans to challenge the new verdict at the Supreme Court.

The lawmaker, who was recently arrested by the police over allegation of exam malpractices believes a supplementary election held in the 2018 elections, which resulted in a total of 255,505 votes for the All Progressives Congress, and 255,023 votes for his party was illegal.
