Senators have voted unanimously to confirm Abike Dabiri-Erewa as the Chairman/Chief Executive Officer of the Nigerians Diaspora Commission.

After a motion moved by the lawmaker representing Cross River, Rose Oko, senators confirmed the nomination of Mrs Dabiri-Erewa, an Adviser to President Muhammadu Buhari.

The nomination made by President Buhari’s on Nov. 21, 2018 was satisfactory, lawmakers noted.

They said they were satisfied by the nominee’s “integrity, exposure, suitability, competence and experiences in politics and public service.”
