President Muhammadu Buhari is on course to winning the 2019 Presidential elections – thanks to over two million votes from Kaduna and Kano.
Results from Lagos, Ogun, Osun, Nasarawa Jigawa, Gombe, Oyo, Rivers, Delta, point to an early lead for the 76-year-old President, who came on the mandate of change in 2015.
According to the election commission in Nigeria, President Buhari’s main opponent, Abubakar Atiku has won a few states too.
DENISAURUS News understands that Alhaji Atiku’s party has rejected the results announced so far, describing them a hijack of democracy.

The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC results showed that Alhaji Atiku of the Peoples Democratic Party, defeated the All Progressives Congress in Abuja.
Although both candidate are Muslim Fulani men from the North, Alhaji Atiku, a former Vice President of Nigeria, is expected to perform well in the South South and South East, while President Buhari has a large support from the North and will draw more from that region.
