Eedris Abdulkareem, a very prominent musician has issued a verbal attack on President Muhammadu Buhari.
In a statement posted on his Instagram, the veteran rapper hit out at President Buhari who was elected into office in 2015 and is seeking re-election, describing him as “the most successful fraudster in the history of Nigeria.”
The singer who released a hit track titled “Mr. Lecturer” in 2002, went on to explain his reasons for calling the President a “fraudster.”
He said: “He fraudulently gained promotion that he wasn’t qualified for while in the army. ”

During the 2015 election, President Buhari, 75, who is seen as a man of integrity among his followers, claimed his secondary school results were with the army.
At the time, the 75-year-old, who signed an affidavits revealed that the army refused to release the results to him.
Although he is now the Commander-in-Chief, he still failed to submit his secondary school results to the electoral body which will oversee the 2019 elections.
The issue of the President’s secondary school results has been heavily discussed by many Nigerians on social media.
But, a spokesperson to President Buhari has said “only idle people discuss Buhari’s certificate.”
Not holding back, the popular artist, who was born in Kano, said President Buhari “faked his integrity”
“He came back, deceived 15 million Nigerians with fake integrity and became a president without the required certificate,” he said.

“He gained an unrestricted access to our national treasury and went on a looting spree that made Nigeria the poverty capital of the world.”

Mr Abdulkareem added: “Now he wants to continue…no way, he must be stopped because we cannot continue to reinforce failure.”
