Police IGP Invites Senator Adeleke To Answer Questions Over “Exam Malpractice,” IN SPITE OF Examination Board EVIDENCE

Ibrahim Idris, the Inspector General of Police has summoned a leading Osun state Governorship aspirant, days before the elections.

Ademola Adeleke, a member of the Peoples Democratic Party, who is fighting to become the next Governor of the South West state, in an election scheduled to hold on September 22, 2018, is accused of “examination malpractice.”

Although the exam board had only just admitted that he completed the necessary Secondary school exams, Senator Adeleke, elected recently into the upper chamber to represent Osun-West was asked to the appear at the Special Investigation Panel, Force Headquarters, Abuja immediately for arraignment in court.

In a statement seen by DENISAURUS News, the force is charging the lawmaker for examination malpractice.

He is also being charged for “Criminal Conspiracy, Personation, Breach of Duty, Aiding and Abetting.”

Four others namely; Mr Sikiru Adeleke, Alhaji Aregbesola Mufutau (Principal of Ojo-Aro Community High School, Egbedore LGA, Osun State), Mr Gbadamosi Thomas Ojo (School Staff responsible for the registration of candidates for NECO), Mr Dare Olutope (School Teacher “who facilitated the commission of the crime) have been filed at the Federal High Court, Abuja under the Examination Malpractice Act, CAP E15, 2004 today, Wednesday, 19th September, 2018,” the statement reads.

The statement issued by Force PRO Jimoh Moshood further states that: “Senator Ademola Adeleke (PDP Governorship Aspirant in the 22nd September, 2018 Gubernatorial Election in Osun State) and four (4) others namely; MR Sikiru Adeleke, Alhaji Aregbesola Mufutau (Principal of Ojo-Aro Community High School, Egbedore LGA, Osun State), Mr Gbadamosi Thomas Ojo (School Staff responsible for the registration of candidates for NECO), Mr Dare Olutope (School Teacher who facilitated the commission of the crime) are hereby advised in their own interest to report to the Special Investigation Panel, Force Headquarters, Abuja immediately for arraignment in court.”

As at the time of writing this report, DENISAURUS News understands that Senator Adeleke is yet to heed the directive of Mr Idris, who has been accused of trying to intimidate lawmakers opposed to President Muhammadu Buhari.
