Shehu Sani, a popular Senator from Kaduna State has threatened to quit the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, following many embarrassing challenges that have gone unresolved.
“I can tell you confidently that our goods are now at the departure lounge of the APC and we are leaving the party because we can’t tolerate the embarrassment, but we are still giving the party time, he said, adding: “It’s not me that will do it alone, but all people who felt that the party has not treated them well and there was not an attempt to address the issue.

The lawmaker, a founding member of the APC, who represents Kaduna Central Senatorial District, has had a long battle with the State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai.
The feud escalated recently when the home of another lawmaker from Kaduna was demolished on the order of Governor El-Rufai.

The former FCT Minister, who once described President Buhari as a failed leader with nothing to offer, was also caught on video instigating members to cut off Senator Sani’s hair because he refused to grant a new loan that would increase the financial burden of state.
But things were further heated, when President Buhari was seen hailing the Governor as the “bulldozer” – a word seen in reference to the demolishing of Senator Suleiman Hunkuyi’s house.
Senator Sani, who spoke to journalists, who paid him Sallah homage in Kaduna on June 18, 2018 said: “For people like me, we are not going to tolerate or endorse injustices of any kind.”
The Senator, a leading activist who took on the likes of the late dictator, General Sani Abacha stated that if matters are not quickly resolved, he would leave the APC and he’s sure to find succour elsewhere.
He said: “We are talking at the national level, still trying to find a solution to the problem, but if a solution is not found within the next few weeks, you would be told of which party we would be going to.
“I have confidence in whatever political party I contest, I am going to win my election. I am very much convinced about this. Since those that vote you into the office are the masses and the masses have since abandoned the bandwagon of people hiding under the cover and pocket of Buhari and re-election.”
The APC, a conglomerate of five different parties has been enraged with infighting since they were elected in 2015.
A faction known as the new Peoples Democratic Party, nPDP recently criticised the President for side-lining them in this administration despite their effort which brought the party to power.
Consequently, leading members of the party have been urged to abandoned the party in favour of another political party.

A supporter of Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso told DENISAURUS News that the leader would be contesting for President in 2019.
Kwankwasiyya Members believe their leader might be cheated out to favour President Buhari and have called on him to leave the APC.
