Group Reveal Senator Kwankwaso’s Presidential Aspiration At Meeting

This month supporters of Senator Rabi’u Musa Kwankwaso meet to discuss the way forward with his presidential aspiration.

The room in Kaduna was filled with more than 500 young people.

Imrana Hussaini, the director of the Kwankwasiyya Group north zone exclusively revealed to DENISAURUS News that the former Governor of Kano was definitely expected to run for President of Nigeria in the 2019.

There have been talks that Senator Kwankwaso, who represents Kano Central in the upper chamber, was not interested in the number one office, but Mr Hussain refuted this claims.

He said: “Kwankwaso came out and explained to us that he is interested in running.”

Mr Hussaini also described the strength of the Kwankwasiyya group, noting that there were thousands of supporters in all the 36 states.

He stated that the meeting that took place on Saturday 24 March 2018, was “a reconciliation of the caucus which includes state chairmen and coordinator.”

Speaking to DENISAURUS News via telephone, he explained the reason for their support.

“Kwankwaso has the listening ears which plunge him into making RATIONAL political actions. Such rationality has brought him integrity and fame within and outside Nigeria.

An example he gave was when he first meet the leading member of the All Progressives Congress.

“When I first meet Kwankwaso, we were many and we brought many problems to his desk, after listening, I was surprised that he had taken note of what all of us said and took the time to speak to each one of us allaying our fears on the issues we presented.”

Mr Hussani states that: “Kwankwaso has a good mission and this was implemented with the way he ensured that the less privileged had good access to good schools. He built roads and sponsored many abroad to further their education.”

“When he (Senator Kwankwaso) was in Kano, he was very okay. He built and invested in the lives of the people of the state.”

Mr Hussaini adds: “The simple answer is that, first of all he has an established team that guides all his political operation. This team is a combination of experts that excelled in every human activities.

“Secondly, recognition of youths as integral part, toward building the society is another factor that made him unique among Nigerian politicians. He has given youths an ample opportunity to contribute to the development of the society. Development of the future generation is one of the core values of Kwankwaso’s administration when he was the governor of Kano state.

“Thirdly, His political legacy earn him more support in the Nigerian political system. Kwankwaso was able to touch the lives of the people of Kano and Nigeria at large. He succeed in construction of roads, hospitals, schools, skill acquisition centres, human capacity building among others.

“In addition to the above, Engr. Rabiu Musa kwankwaso has championed the art of managing politicians at all level. He earned respect among grassroot and top level politician within and outside kano state. He has established good relationship with politicians which make him the most marketable political product in the contemporary Nigerian politics.”

He prayed for Allah in his infinite mercy would help Kwankwaso to realise his dream and make Nigeria a better place for all, amin.”

DENISAURUS News understands that there are more than 150 groups under the umbrella of the Kwankwasiyya Amana (Trust).

One of them is the RMK Group which is led by Abdullahi Jibrin Ishaq.


Senator Kwankwaso introduced his successor into politics as his Deputy Governor and later his Special Advisor, hoping that he would carry on his successful legacies.

According to Mr Hussaini, a site coordinator, “Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje has not done anything and the people are complaining.
