President Muhammadu Buhari has meet with the abducted Dapchi girls in Abuja today.
115 girls were kidnapped by Boko Haram on February 19. The insurgent had previously kidnapped other girls from Chibok in April 2014.
Five of the Dapchi girls are said to have died and one of the girls, the only Christian is yet to be returned by the insurgents.
However, the President who has vowed to secure Leah Sharibu’s release, said the government “entered into negotiation solely to make sure that no single girl was hurt. This strategy paid off as the girls are being released without any incident.”
