Nigerian President Loses Core Support – Told To Just Finish “Four Year Tenure And Be Going”

Days after President Muhammadu Buhari called on his party, the All Progressive Congress, APC to “prepare itself” for the 2019 election, DENISAURUS News has discovered a high disapproval rating among core supporters of Nigeria’s current Commander-in-Chief.

Gimba Kakanda, a journalist is one of those who were happy to see the Presidential flag bearer of the APC unseat an incumbent President in 2015.

Today, Mr Kakanda can’t wait to see Buhari leave office.

In a recent tweet, Mr Kakanda stated his disapproval of the President. “Wallahi your government does not treasure lives, President @MBuhari,” he wrote.

“You, dear sir, unequivocally justified killings of hundreds of citizens under your watch on a live TV show. It’s on record. Just finish your tenure(s) and come and be going, but do not insult our intelligence.”

The social media influencer’s advise that the President should vacate office when his tenure comes to an end in 2019 is similar to what others are saying.

Chude Jideonwo, who worked with the Buhari presidential campaign in 2015 said: “President Buhari has been a major disappointment.”

Another Buharist who put “his entire life” into campaigning for President Buhari,” has also expressed his disappointment at the President.

In an exclusive interview with DENISAURUS News, the public servant who campaigned for President Buhari in 2003, 2007, 2011 and in the 2015 elections, explained that the masses were let down by this government.

Former President Olusegun Obasanjo and General Ibrahim Babangida have also scored President Buhari’s government low on performance.
