A 52-year-old man has admitted in Court to trying to cash-in from funds meant for victims of the Grenfell fire.

Anh Nhu Nguyen, seen pictured with the Prince of Wales, claimed his wife and son were killed in the tragic fire in order to obtain about £12,500.

Mr Nguyen, who appeared at the Southwark Crown Court today, showed no sign of emotion as he entered his plea through a translator.

He would be sentenced on December 15.
