Chelsea midfielder N’golo Kante has been included in the 2017 Ballon d’Or shortlist. 

The French man has helped two different club win the premier league title.

He joins the likes of Christiano Ronaldo, Lionel Messi, Luis Suárez and Neymar, on the 30-man shortlist, which is judged by a panel of journalists.

Ronaldo, the current champion, who plays for Real Madrid, is expected to retain his crown. If he is successful, it would put him on the same level as Lionel Messi who has won the prestigious award five times.
