The first victim of a terror attack that took place in London bridge, has been named as Christine Archibald, a Canadian national.
Six others were stabbed and mowed down by three men driving a white van last night. The terrorist were later shot dead by police officers.
In a statement, Ms Archibald’s family said she had been working in a homeless shelter before moving to Europe to join her fiancé.
“We grieve the loss of our beautiful, loving daughter and sister. She had room in her heart for everyone and believed strongly that every person was to be valued and respected,” they said.
“She lived this belief working in a shelter for the homeless until she moved to Europe to be with her fiancé. She would have had no understanding of the callous cruelty that caused her death.
“Please honour by making your community a better place. Volunteer your time and labor or donate to a homeless shelter. Tell them Chrissy sent you.”
