Swedish Police have revealed that Chris Bevington a British man was among the four victims of the Stockholm terror attack.
Bevington, 41, died along with two Swedes and a Belgian when a truck mowed down pedestrians in a busy shopping district of the Swedish capital on Friday.
Police believe a 39-year-old man from Uzbekistan carried out the attack.
In a statement released a few hours ago, Chris’ father described him as a “talented, compassionate and caring son.”
John Bevington said: “We are all devastated by the untimely and tragic death of our talented, compassionate and caring son Chris.
“A wonderful husband, son, father, brother and close friend to many. The family requests absolute privacy at this incredibly difficult time to mourn his passing in peace.”
The attack comes a few weeks after Khalid Masood drove a car at high speed into pedestrians on Westminster Bridge, killing four people.
52 year Masood, a Muslim convert from Kent went on to kill a policeman Keith Palmer.
The 48-year-old, a member of the Parliamentary and Diplomatic Protection Command who served in the Metropolitan Police for 15 years, is lying in rest at the Palace of Westminster. He will be buried tomorrow.
