A fraudulent online news outlet, Metro-UK.com has published untruthful story saying the President of Nigeria has died in London.
The fake news site claimed President Muhammadu Buhari died in a London Hospital where he was receiving medical care.
The report also claimed to have confirmed the shocking news with the Nigerian Mission in the UK.
But a source who has spoken to a relative of President Buhari, has dismissed the rumours, calling those peddling such “irresponsible.”
Speaking to DENISAURUS News in a telephone interview, the source confirmed that they heard President Buhari laughing and joking in the background, while speaking to his relative who is also in London.

Nigeria’s Commander in Chief is currently in London on a vacation. It’s his first holiday since June 2016.
A reporter for this paper, warned on January 17 that some people were hoping for “the demise of PMB.”

The special adviser on media and publicity, Femi Adesina, has dismissed the report of the President’s death.
He said: “As for those who carry evil rumours, May the receive the grace to repent.”
In a twitter message, another spokesman for the President, Garba Shehu also confirmed that President Buhari “is alive and well!”
