A stage 4 sickle cell cancer patient who kind Nigerians helped raise millions of Naira to save her life has died at a hospital in South Africa where she was receiving treatment.
Mayowa Ahmed’s brother broke the news via his twitter handle @Asiwaju_Foye, five hours ago.
“Allah, in whose hands our lives is, Mayowa Ahmed has left us in this world. We pray that Jannat becomes her home #RipMayowa,” he said.
Nigerians took to various social media platform to pay their condolences to the dead.
Inna Lillahi wa inna ilaihi raji’un, #RIPMayowa – Gone to rest. Rest In Power. May her legacy live on.
