PMB on his way to Chad


President Muhammadu Buhari GCFR is about to fly out to N’Djamena to attend the inauguration of President Idriss Déby of Chad.

President Buhari, who is approaching the helipad at the villa, would be joining other Heads of State and Government for the ceremony, a source in the Presidency was able to explain to DENISAURUS News.

The 63-years-old has been the President of the West African country since 1990. During the election that took place on April 10, he took 61.56 percent of the votes that were cast, making it the fifth time he has been successful at the poll.

A government statement issued by Mr Femi Adesina,  the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity states that President Buhari would be accompanied on the one-day trip by the Governor of Kano, Mallam Abdullahi Ganduje and Borno state Governor, Mallam Kashim Shettima.

The President’s delegation will also include Senator Baba Kaka Garba; Tahir Monguno; Minister of Foreign Affairs, Geoffrey Onyeama; and the National Security Adviser, Babagana Monguno.
