Family means a lot to most people. This is why the All Progressives Congress in the United Kingdom were delighted to hear that on Friday 22 July, one of the founding fathers of the party, Mallam Nuhu Ribadu who joined the PDP in 2014, has made the decision to rejoin the party.

The Adamawa State chapter which has waited long for Mallam Ribadu’s return, last wrote a letter to reaffirm “our request for you to come home to APC and assist and contribute to the success of the APC government both at state and national level.”

After much persuasion, Mallam Ribadu re-registered and became a member of the All Progressives Congress.

This morning, Adenike Lucas, the APC UK Press Secretary and Editor of DENISAURUS News,  placed a welcome telephone call to Mallam Ribadu, the pioneer Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC and former Presidential candidate for the Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN).

In that conversation he said he was “very happy” with the decision he took to return back “home” to the All Progressives Party.

Mallam Ribadu, 56,  who lost the  2015 Adamawa Governorahip elections to incumbent Jubrilla Bindow has been welcomed by party structures in his home constituency, Bako Ward, Yola, Adamawa following his online application to the party.

The 2011 ACN Presidential candidate is currently hosting ward members at his home.

With council voting due to take place in Adamawa soon, Mallam Ribadu promises to “contribute” in the election campaigns.
