Ahmad AbdurRahman has been appointed as the new Commissioner of Police in Enugu State, DENISAURUS News has exclusively been told.Â
The officer, who hails from Kirfi Local Government area of Bauchi State, succeeds Sulaiman Balarabe, who took over from Mohammed Danmallam.
Sheikh AbdurRahman, previously a former Head of Operation at the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC has of recent received heaps of praise for his work in the force.
Those close to the officer said they are “pleased that he is being recognised for his hard work.”

The officer referred to as a “super cop” by his colleagues, served as a Commissioner of Police in Kaduna, where he led a patrol team along the Kaduna-Abuja highway in order to further build confidence in the people of the state.
He was later moved to the Force Intelligence Bureau in Abuja.
The new posting, which take place with immediate effect means the super cop would be moving to Enugu soon.
