Dayo Adeyeye, a member of the All Progressives Congress, who stood as candidate of the party 2019 election has been sacked by the national assembly election petitions tribunal sitting in Ado Ekiti.Â
A former minority leader, Senator Biodun Olujimi who challenged Mr Adeyeye’s mandate to represent the people of Ekiti South, secured a favourable judgement from the tribunal.
In the ruling delivered by Daniel Adeck, declared Senator Olujimi, the winner the February 23 elections.
Mr Adeyeye plans to appeal the decision of the tribunal.
