Presient Muhammadu Buhari has won the votes in Nasarawa for the first time since he has been contesting for President.
The 76-year-old who is seeking a second term beat his main rival Abubakar Atiku in the north central state.
In Nasarawa on Saturday, the total valid votes was 580,778, and the ruling All Progressives Congress, on whose ticket President Buhari is contesting won, 289,903 votes.
The second place winner Alhaji Atiku of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, received 283,847 votes.
