President Muhammadu Buhari’s critics have found more errors with the amazing and questionable attestation certificate presented to him by the West Africa Examination Council on Friday, DENISAURUS News has learned.
The paper can report that Iyi Uwadiae, the registrar of WAEC in Nigeria, presented the certificate to President Buhari at the Aso Villa, with the hope that it would dispel the protest for “PMB, to show us your WAEC Certificate.”

But instead of ending the certificate saga, more questions have been raised. Nigerians on social media wondered why the new results carried a new picture of the President.
Others asked why WAEC was attesting to President Buhari’s secondary school results, when the exam body did not exist when the President wrote his papers in 1961.
For many, there is a big cover up and answers are being sort for in every corner of the country.
The Commander In Chief, 75, who retired from Nigeria Army in 1985, following a Coup D’etat by Former Head of state, General Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida that ousted him, ventured into politics in 2003 when the country returned to democracy.
President Buhari had vied for the highest position in Nigeria on three consecutive times, before he unseated an incumbent government of former President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan in 2015.
However, few years into the government of the ruling party, All Progressive Congress, APC, Nigerians began to feel the pain of an inconsiderate and nonchalant President, who showed no enthusiasm to address prevailing crisis in the country.
DENISAURUS News understands that before assuming power in 2015, President Buhari had set three agenda for the government. Most importantly, the ruling party promised Nigerians that they will address Insecurity, Economy and Corruption.

To the great dismay of many, the situation in Nigeria is rather getting worse or unattended by the government of President Buhari.
Due to these challenges, past leaders in the country have advised the President not to seek re-election, but to allow another Nigerian to salvage the current situation facing the country.
Meanwhile, having disregarded the advice not to re-contest the 2019 general election, President Buhari’s nomination form was submitted to the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, as the Presidential candidate for the ruling APC.
As part of the documents required to contest for the highest position in the country, an educational qualification and certificate is attached to submitted form by candidates.
DENISAURUS News learned that President Buhari again submitted an affidavit in place of WAEC Certificate, as was done in three consecutive attempts to become Nigeria President since 2003, 2007, 2011 and 2015 respectively.
Although he is now the commander of the armed forces, President Buhari, states that the military still had his results. This did not seem to drown the noise of critics who wanted to see the President’s school results.
To solve this problem, the President was issued an attestation certificate. However, most Nigerians have come out to lash President Buhari over the sudden WAEC ‘Attestation,’ which he had claimed was with the Military Board since the time he joined the Army.
To corroborate the backlash from Nigerians, a retired military officer, Lieutenant Colonel Idris Bako of the Nigeria Army Regular Course II Set, has provided more details on the certificate saga of President Buhari.
He said: “I want to re-state categorically that Buhari has NO VERIFIABLE CERTIFICATE anywhere in the world.
“WAEC/CAMBRIDGE GCE: – Buhari did not sit for the Cambridge examination in 1961 as his names (Muhammadu, Mohammed or Mohamed Buhari) is not in the UK Examination body’s List of candidates names from 1960-1962.
“His name(s) is also NOT on WAEC candidates’ names in both Ghana and Nigeria Offices from 1960-1962. Any attempt by Buhari or his agents to present any document to INEC representing WACE or GCE certificate may constitute an Offence (FORGERY, PERJURY PENDING).
“CERTIFICATE/ARMY RECRUITMENT: – Buhari presented no certificate to the Nigerian Army in 1961 when Late Ahmadu Bello conscripted him from his School (still in session) to join the Army, as he has none. The only paperwork that came from his school principal, states that,
“I consider that he (Buhari) will pass west African school certificate, with credit in English, Maths and three other subjects”. This letter is self-explanatory. You cannot pass an examination you never sat for.
“NIGERIA DEFENCE ACADEMY (NDA): – Buhari did not attend the NDA as claimed. He attended Royal Military Forces Training College (RMFTC) for months (End of 1961 to the beginning of 1962) for normal Army recruitment and physical fitness training
“This is not a certification programme. RMFTC was renamed NDA (established on the 5th of February 1964), and regular courses were introduced thereon.
“UK MILITARY TRAINING: Buhari attended the Aldershot based, Mons Officer Cadet School. No Certificate was issued to Buhari, as he passed no examination for the short period he was in the UK in 1963. Cadet School information collaborates this.
“DEFENCE SERVICE STAFF COLLEGE, WILLINGTON, INDIA: – As usual, Buhari attended the staff college and did not sit for their examinations. The Defence Services Staff College, Willington does not issue a certificate of attendance to its attendee in 1974.
“US WAR COLLEGE: – Buhari left this College in 1980. He has in his Wikipedia page that he was offered a Master Degree in the same college in 1980.
“The US War college have confirmed that they started their Master program in the year 2000 and there is no way Buhari would have gotten a Masters degree in that college in 1980. Again, no certificate was issued to him.
“Buhari has just received an attestation certificate today, after donkey years! They gleefully took a picture, claiming the officials took the attestation certificate to him. Sorry Nigerians! You have just been deceived and SCAMMED AGAIN.
“Conclusion: No doubt according to Edrees Abdukareem, ‘Buhari is the most successful fraudster’ in the History Of Nigeria.”
At the time of filing this report, DENISAURUS News was unable to get a response from the Presidency to this new revelation.
