The Minister of Power, Works and Housing Babatunde Raji Fashola has said that voting President Mummadu Buhari in for the second time will allow power go to the South West in 2023.
“Do you know that power is rotating to the South-West after the completion of Buhari’s tenure if you vote for him in 2019?
“A vote for Buhari in 2019, means a return of power to the South West in 2023. I am sure you will vote wisely.”
The comment Mr Fashola made during a town hall meeting also attended by the Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi, and Water Resources, Suleiman Adamu, has left many Nigerians confused.
Chris Ngige, the Minister of Labour and Employment had also boasted that power will be returned to the igbos in 2023, DENISAURUS News can report today.
