Nigeria’s President has arrived in Ado Ekiti to support the candidate of the All Progressives Congress,  APC in the coming Governorship election taking place in the state.

President Muhammadu Buhari hopes the mega rally held today at the Oluyemi Kayode Stadium in Ado Ekiti will bolster support for his candidate, Kayode Fayemi before the July 14 election.

But, Dr Fayemi, a former Minister of Mines and Steel Development, who is seeking a second term to lead the state has been derided by the chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.

Uche Secondus told the people of Ekiti to vote for  Kolapo Olusola Eleka, arguing that a “vote for APC is a vote for herdsmen and killings.”
