A herd of cows have entered the National Assembly complex, DENISAURUS News has been reliably informed.
DENISAURUS News was reliably informed by a source that the cows appeared at the offices of the lawmakers this morning and they have remained there till now.
Security at the National Assembly is meant to be tight. However, the animals were able to make it past the third and final security check point to the building.
Not too long ago, the Senate Mace – symbol of authority, was stolen by thugs affiliated to a representative from Delta State.

Today’s invasion comes days after more than 86 people in the Gashish District of Barkin Ladi LGA, in Plateau state were killed by armed herdsmen.
The killing was “retaliatory” to the loss of “300 cows,” the Chairman, North Central zone of Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders’ Association of Nigeria, MACBAN, has said.

Danladi Ciroma said: “These attacks are retaliatory. As much as I don’t support the killing of human being, the truth must be told that those who carried out the attacks must be on revenge mission,
“Fulani herdsmen have lost about 300 cows in the last few weeks – 94 cows were rustled by armed Berom youths in Fan village, another 36 cows were killed by Berom youths. In addition to that, 174 cattle were rustled.”
