Catriona Wendy Campbell Laing, a graduate of Cranfield University has been appointed as the new British High Commissioner to Nigeria.

Ms. Laing CB, a mother of one, succeeds Paul Arkwright who will be transferring to another Diplomatic Service appointment, the UK Government website states.

She has previously served at the Ministry of Justice as a Director of Human Rights and International.  Her posting before the new appointment  is in Zimbabwe.
