Adamawa Hit By Fresh Herdsmen Attack

Suspected killer herdsmens continued their blood bath, leaving three dead in a fresh attack in Adamawa today. 

Eyewitnesses said the attackers who rode into Kikon Village of Numan, Adamawa on a motorbikes in the early hours of this morning, set houses and food barns on fire, before carting away livestocks belonging to farmers.

A year ago, 29 people were killed in four villages of Demsare, Wunamokoh, Dikajam and Toboungo in Girei district of Adamawa.

Today’s attack comes days after more than 70 people were killed in Benue by herdsmen.

Various lawmakers have called on the Presidency to make a move towards curbing the killings.
