A senator representing Imo East has raised an alarm over plans to plant money in his home.
Sam Anyanwu, had last week lambastated Ibrahim Mustafa Magu, saying that he was no longer recognised as the chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC.
The Senate rejected the nomination of the “corrupt” police officer on March 15. Lawmakers are resolved in replacing Mr Magu. One of those wanting to do so is Senator Anyanwu.
For his determination, he might have had made an enemy with Mr Magu, who likes to discover orphaned monies.
Senator Anyanwu, says any plans to find such money in his home would fail,
Lawmakers have refused to screen nominees from the President who has refused to remove Mr Magu, despite an indicting report against him written by the secret police.
