Deputy Commissioner of Police Ahmad AbdurRahman has paid a visit to the family of the traditional ruler who was murdered in Gwantu, Kaduna today.
Gambo Makama, who holds the title of the Etum Numana, in southern Kaduna, and his pregnant wife were shot dead in the early hours of Monday by some unknown assassins. The palace and a car belonging to the late traditional father was set a blaze.
According to relatives, Alhaji Makama’s son survived the attack. He is currently receiving treatment in an undisclosed hospital.
On visiting the family, DCP AburRahman assured the people that the assailants will be brought to book as soon as possible.
