The mother of the Osun State Governor, Alhaja Saratu Aregbesola has died in Ilesa, this morning.
A Facebook user, Wale Alabi said, “a cross section of Ulamas in prayer session for Alhaja Saratu, who was popularly known as iya olobi, at her residence in Ilesa.
Her son, Rauf, who is away in Birni Kebbi, Kebbi State for the APC governors’ meeting, also wrote a prayer for her on his Twitter account. after the news began to spread across the media.
He wrote: “inna lillahi wa inna inayhi raji’un.”
Alhaja Saratu will be buried today in accordance with Islamic rites.
