People living with disabilities in the Niger Delta were today, given a boost thanks to a major donation from the President of the Senate, Bukola Saraki.
Senator Saraki provided the Foundation of People Living With Disabilities in the Niger Delta with a 15-seater Toyota bus to help with their travels.
The group some of whom are wheelchair-bound, made a visit to Senator Saraki’s office last year.

The former governor of Kwara, who was duly represented by the Senate Leader, Senator Ahmed Lawan, said the gift “reinforces the notion that the Senate listens, the Senate acts, the Senate remembers, and the Senate cares.
“It might not be immediate,” he said: “but this institution, will always listen, act, remember and keep it’s promises.”
